Fruit Stack combines fruit matching with sideways aiming and squat-to-drop input. The question is not simply where an object fits: first identify the fruit you hold and choose its matching crate. A correct drop merges and grows the crate’s fruit for points; a wrong crate or a drop onto the grass shatters it.
Read the fruit before choosing the landing spot
Look at the held fruit and the row of crates before moving. Match the kind of fruit, then use the landing guide to line up with that crate. An open-looking space is not enough if it belongs to the wrong fruit.

Separate aiming from dropping
- Identify the fruit currently held.
- Move sideways to align the landing guide with the matching crate.
- Check the aim while upright before making the drop command.
- Squat to drop, then inspect the result before aiming the next fruit.
A squat commits the drop. If you are still shifting sideways, you may send the fruit toward a different landing spot than intended. First practice a clear sequence—identify, aim, drop, inspect—rather than maximizing speed immediately.
Understand why a drop broke
| Result | What to check | Next attempt |
|---|---|---|
| The fruit reached the wrong crate | Was the fruit kind matched before aiming? | Choose the crate by the held fruit, then position the guide |
| The fruit landed on the grass | Was the guide aligned with a crate when you dropped? | Finish the sideways adjustment before squatting |
| No drop appeared | Did the preview and game feedback recognize the squat? | Check body framing rather than guessing at scoring rules |
Use the outcome to distinguish a matching mistake from an input problem. Camera framing should show the movement needed for aiming and squatting. Clear the area swept by your sideways motion; casual genre does not mean the game needs only a hand gesture.
A first-round challenge before chasing points
Make one correct crate match and describe why it worked. Repeat the same decision sequence for the next held fruit, checking its kind again. The game asks you to grow fruit within its time limit; this deliberate first-round challenge is a practice suggestion, not a separate unlimited mode.
When sharing a session, let an observer name the matching crate while the active player handles the camera input, then swap on the next turn. Use the family turn format for a fair shared goal.
Compare this fruit puzzle with other merge games
Fruit Stack uses matching crates and a body-triggered drop. It is not an official Suika game or a promise of identical watermelon-game rules. Merge 2048 shifts a number board with arm commands instead; Bus Queue combines color matching with clear exit paths.
Return to the puzzle and casual collection to compare movements. Use camera setup for recognition problems and the movement-footprint guide before choosing the room.
