About MovePlay

A browser-based webcam motion game platform: your body movement is the game controller — no dedicated motion hardware required.

MovePlay is a browser-based motion game platform that turns visible body movement into game controls using a webcam and on-device computer vision. Players can reach, lean, squat, step, jump or use hand gestures depending on the game, without requiring a dedicated motion controller or depth camera.

What MovePlay does

MovePlay combines three parts:

  1. Browser games designed around physical movement.
  2. Camera-based tracking that estimates body or hand positions on the device.
  3. Game controls that translate those positions into actions such as steering, hitting targets, dodging or selecting objects.

The live Game Hub contains the current catalog. The webcam games page organises games by movement and use case.

How the technology works

The browser receives the camera stream after permission is granted. A local computer-vision model estimates body or hand landmarks. Each game interprets those landmarks as controls and renders feedback immediately.

Privacy principles

MovePlay's motion-control architecture is designed so gameplay camera frames used for tracking remain on the device rather than being uploaded as gameplay video. The product privacy policy governs the broader service, including normal account, payment and website data.
