Who should choose which?

Consider Nex when you want a dedicated TV game system with a wider family catalog and are comfortable deciding later whether the extra library is worth a pass. Budget separately for the device and optional content; the starter games remain an alternative to buying the pass immediately.

Consider LeapMove when the early-learning focus fits your child and you prefer to begin with built-in activities. Check the current device price, the content your child wants, and any paid add-ons. “No subscription required for the included activities” does not mean every future game is included in the purchase.

Try the movement format before buying a console

A browser webcam game lets you test whether camera-controlled play suits your room and preferences using a device you already own. MovePlay's hub shows the current free selection; paid games need a signed-in Pro account. This is a different route from owning a TV console, and device compatibility still needs a complete-round test. See the setup guide or large-screen guide.
